Third Saturday in January

Adirondack Lake, Route 28, Indian Lake NY Check-in at Byron Park Building
Held on Adirondack Lake, 7AM to 3PM. Cash prizes hourly for largest pike (1,2 &3 places) and largest perch (1 & 2 places). Registration fee $30 in advance and $35 on day of contest. Also, equipment prizes such as augers, tip-ups, and portable shanties.

Ice Fishing Derby Rules: — Please Read Carefully!

Fish using up to 5 tip-ups and 2 jig-sticks (hand line
s). At check-in on derby day, you will receive
number tags that must be placed on your tip-ups and a
numbered button to wear on your outer
clothing. This same number enters you in all prize drawings.

Check in begins at 5:30am Fishing begins at 7 am. Anyone found fishing before that time will be disqualified.

Fishing ends at 3 pm. Last fish must be weighed in no
later than 3:10 pm.

Fish caught
must be kept alive to qualify
for weighing and measuring. In the event of a tie in
weight, length of the fish will be the tiebreaker. W
e will provide two or more weigh stations on the ice.
It is your responsibility
to get your fish weighed while alive!

Fish must be weighed in the hour caught. Stockpiling
fish will result in disqualification.

All applicable DEC fishing regulations apply including size, limit, etc.

Door prize drawings will be held at 12 noon and posted. You must pick up your prize between
noon and 4 P.M. Cash prizes for fish caught can be m
ailed to winners.

Lake Adirondack is surrounded by private property. Yo
u will be disqualified from the fishing
derby if found trespassing.

No vehicles over 1000 pounds allowed on ice.

Registered fishermen may not fish with non-registered persons who are fishing.
